Crystal Clear Pets
The Ellsworth Façade Improvements Program began in 2004 as a joint initiative of the Planning and Finance Departments designed to enhance the physical appearance of storefronts and other commercial properties and improve the vitality of the urban core. The program was funded through a Community Development Block Grant and matching funds from businesses. The Facade Program continues as funds are returned to the program following the sale of properties.
Twenty businesses have been selected to receive funding including the latest, which is the Maine Grind Building pictured below. The total investment is anticipated to be $480,000 with $125,000 from the grant program and the remainder coming from the businesses.
